Soldier Tee

The Soldier Tee is part of the Guerrilla Garms series, where original military garments are reworked into contemporary streetwear. The base is an authentic German Army undershirt from the 1990s in olive.

The front features a black screen print referencing the iconic Vietnam War photograph of a soldier wearing a helmet with the phrase “Make War Not Love.” The image later became widely recognized through cultural reinterpretations, including its use by The Smiths on the cover of The World Won’t Listen.

For this piece, the phrase is reworked to “Make Culture Not War”, turning a historic war image into a contemporary cultural statement.
